First, you want the answers in inches so you make all the measurements into inches, so multiply them all by 12. (since 12 inches = 1 foot)

12*12 = 144 inches 4*12 = 48 inches 5*12 = 60 inches

than multiply all of them by 1/4 OR divide them all by 4 (same thing)

you get ... 36 inches 12 inches 15 inches in the drawing
