What is the answer to this algebra question? 5w+9=2w

    5w + 9 = 2w

    5w - 2w + 9 = 2w - 2w Subtract 2w both sides to get w terms on one side.

    3w + 9 = 0 Subtract 9 both sides

    3w = - 9

    w=-3 Divide both sides by 3
