    X (x-2) (x+3) = 18

    (x²-2x) (x+3) = 18

    x² (x+3) - 2x (x+3) = 18

    x³ + 3x² - 2x² - 6x - 18 = 0

    x³ + x² - 6x - 18 = 0

    x² (x+1) - 6 (x-3) = 0

    (x²-6) (x+1) (x-3) = 0

    (x-3) (x+2) (x+1) (x-3) = 0

    factors are x = 3; x = - 2; x = - 1
