6cm^3=6cm*1cm*1cm Now muliply this equation by the fraction 1m/100cm (You are multiplying by one because 1m=100cm). If you do this three times and cancel the cm terms you are left with 6*1m*1m*1m/100*100*100 which equals 6m^3/1,000,000 or. 000006m^3
