A square has side length 6 inches. A parallelogram has a base of 6 inches. The area of the square is equal to the area of the parallelogram. What is the height of the parallelogram? How do i solve this?

    It would be 6 because on a square, all the sides have to be the same length. Since the area is the same on both, and the length of the square is equal to the base of the parallelogram, this means it could only be 6

    A=bh In this case b = 6 and for the square 6x4=24 so h=4 bh = 6x4=24
