Find the zeros of the function. y = (3x+2) (x+4)

    If (3x+2) (x+4) = 0 then one of the 2 factors (or both) have to be 0. set each to, 0 and solve for x

    3x+2=0 means x = - 2/3

    if x,+4=0 then x = - 4

    that's your two zeros
