Solve the following compound inequality: 3<-2x-1≤7

    First you would add 1 to all 3 sides of the inequality

    4< - 2x ≤ 8

    then divide by - 2 on all 3 sides

    dividing by a negative would also make the signs flip the opposite way

    -2 > x ≤ - 4
