    Given that the house representation is given by 1/44"=1', then the house who dimension is 1.5" by 2.25" has an actual length of:

    (2.25) / (1/4) * 1

    =2.25*4

    =9'

    and actual width of:

    (1.5) / (1/4) * 1

    =1.5*4

    =6'

    therefore the size of the room will be:

    Area=length*width

    =9*6

    =36 square inches
