    Assuming the value of the first piece is x, then the equation would be this:

    x+3x+6x=200

    Simplify, and you get:

    10x=200

    Solve for x:

    x=20

    So the first piece (x) was 20 cm long

    The second piece (3x) was 60 cm long

    The third piece (6x) was 120 cm long
