Suppose the slope of a line is positive. Describe what happens to the value of x as the value of y increases

    A line with a positive slope has a positive increase in x associated with a positive increase in y

    As y increases, x will also increase because the slope of the line is positive. When the slope is positive, the x will always increase but if the slope is negative, the x will always decrease.
