Density is defined mathematically as the mass divided by the volume: d = m / v. In this case, the cube has volume of 9*9*9 = 729cm^3 and the mass is 600g. Therefore the density is simply 600g / 729cm^3 = 0.823 grams per cubic cm. Rounded to the nearest hundredth (two decimal places) the density is 0.82 grams per cubic cm.
