A street that is 340ft long is covered in snow. City workers are using a snowplow to clear the street. A tire on the snowplow has to turn 34 times in traveling the length of the street. What is the diameter of the tire? Use the value 3.14 for π. Round your answer to the nearest tenth. Do not round any intermediate steps.

    So you need to take 340 divide it by 34 because for each 10 feet you turn once.

    340/34=10 and because pie is what you use to find the Diameter you would take

    10/3.14. You would get 3.18 but because you need to round to nearest tenth

    Answer: The Diameter of the tire is 3.18 Ft
