C-7=3C-33

I don't understand how I would simplify to get my answer.

So x-7=3x-33 first thing to do is combined like terns so 3x-x = 2x so now you have - 7=2x-33 add - 33 to - 7 and sence 33 is - 33 it becomes a positive 33 so you add 33 to - 7 and now you get 23=2x now you divide 2 on each side and now you get 11.5=x
