It is recommended that athletes drink a minimum of 0.24 l of water for every 20 minutes of athletes activity. john plays tennis for 3 hours. his water bottle holds 1,500 ml. will he have enough water to meet the minimum requirement? if so, how much water will he have left? if not what is the least amount of water he will need to put in his bottle when it is empty?

    In 3 hours there are 9 lots of 20 minutes so the amount needed is 0.24 * 9 = 2.16L

    water bottle isn't big enough, he will need 2.16 - 1.5 = 0.66L refill.

    No, because 60*3=180/20=9*.24=2.16

    The amount the bottle can hold is 1.5 liters and 1.5<2.16
