First convert them to vertex form

    first one is y = 2 (x + 0.75) ^2 - 6.125

    2nd is y = - 2 (x - 0.75) ^2 - 3.875

the - 2 will cause a reflection of the first equation in the x axis. then a translation down of 6.125 + 3.875 = 10 units, followed by

    a translation of - 0.75-0.75 = - 1.5 units to the right = 1.5
