How do you estimate 3/4 - 1/8? How much of 3/4 is left?

    They need a common denominator. so the common denominator is 8. so multiply the 3 and the 4 each by 2. so then you get 6/8. then subtract 1/8 from 6/8. so it looks like 6/8-1/8 and you'll get an answer of 5/8.
