The radius of a circle is 4.3 inches. Using the formula A ≈ 3r2, what is the approximate area of the circle?

    Area = (Pi) (Radius) ^ (2)

    so

    A = π (4.3) ²

    A = π (18.49)

    A = 58.088 in/sq

    (There should be a Pi button on your calculator)
