    Y intercept: put 0 in for x and you'll get the you value

    Like this:

    Y=-2 (0+5) ^2+18

    Y=-2 (5) ^2+18

    Y=-2 (25) + 18

    Y=-50+18

    Y=-32

    (0,-32)

    X intercept: put 0 in for y and do the same thing.

    Like this 0=-2 (x+5) ^2+18

    -18=-2 (x+5) ^2

    Divide by - 2

    9 = (x+5) ^2

    Square root

    3=x+5

    -2=x

    (-2,0)
