You work at a T-shirt printing business. Of the 3,900 T-shirts shipped, 574 have a defect. What is the experimental probability that a T-shirt has a defect? Write your answer as a percent, to the nearest tenth of a percent.

    To solve this problem you would first need to divide the number of defected T-shirts by the total amount that was shipped ... so 574/3900 = 0.147. To get the percent move the decimal to the right two places. Your percentage would be 14.7%
