Find the zeros of f (x) = 4x^4-17x^2+4

F (x) = 4x^4 - 17x^2 + 4
= (4x^2-1) (x^2-4)
= (2x-1) (2x+1) (x-2) (x+2)
Hence the zeros are 1/2, - 1/2, 2 and - 2
