How do you add unlike fractions?

You make them like fractions, for example if you have, 2/3 and 3/4 then you must find the lowest common denominator, so in this case you would multiply 2/3 by 4, and 3/4 by 3 and you would get 8/12 and 9/12. then you can add them together

Make the denominators the same number. Then what ever you multiply the denominators by you must multiply the same to the numerator.
