Ok so I got this homework and I am very confused so these two sentences mean the same thing.

(PS this is about fractions

1) Find each sum or difference. Write in simplest form.

2) Find each product. Write your answer in simplest form.

Simplest form is when u minimize the answer. So if u have 2/4 and u simplify that then it would be 1/2 because u divide them in half.
