The surface area of a sphere is: 4pr^2

(4p (36^2) ft^2) (gal/160ft^2)

(5184p ft^2) (gal/160ft^2) = 32.4p gal which is approximately:

101.78 gal

So the company must purchase 102 gallons of paint.
