Nick is in charge of collecting cereal box tops to trade in for items for his school. He keeps the box tops in 48 folders. Each folder contains 90 box tops. If a printer costs 3,500 box tops, does Nick have enough box tops to trade in for the printer? Explain how you know.

    He has 4,320 box tops. He has enough to get the printer. You multiply 90x48.

    Nick has enough box tops to trade in for a printer because 90 times 48 is 4320. You wouldn't do division because it already told you how many boxtops it has in each folders and not adding or subtraction since it has boxtops in each folder. I hope you understand
