A parallelogram has vertices at (-5, - 1), (-2, - 1), (-3, - 4), and (-6, - 4). What is the approximate perimeter of the parallelogram? Round your answers to the nearest hundredth.

    Hello,

    A = (-5,-1)

    B = (-2,-1)

    C = (-3,-4)

    |AB|² = (-5+2) ² + (-1+1) ²=9==>|AB|=3

    |BC|² = (-3+2) ² + (-4+1) ²=1+9=10 = = >|BC|=√10

    Perimeter=2*3+2*√10=6+2√10≈12.32
