1. Radio signals travel at a rate of 3x10^7 meters per second. How many seconds will it take for a radio signal to travel from a satellite to the surface of the earth if the satellite is orbiting at a height of of 3.5x10^6 Meters?

    Speed = 3*10⁷ m/sec

    distance = 3.5*10⁶m

    time=distance/speed = 3.5*10⁶m/3*10⁷ m/sec ≈ 1.17/10 = 0.117 sec
