James has an ice cube tray that makes ice in the shape of spheres rather than cubes. Each sphere of ice has a radius of 222 cm. One tray makes 666 spheres. What is the total volume of ice the tray can make at one time?

    You will use the formula for the volume of the sphere to find the volume of one ice cube.

    I will use 2 cm as the radius.

    V = 4/3 x pi x r^3

    4/3 x 3.14 x 2^3

    V = 33.49 cubic cm

    The volume of 1 ice cube is approximately 33.49 cubic cm, so 6 would be 6 x 33.49.

    The volume of 6 ice cubes is approximately 200.94 cubic centimeters.
