Adam had a lump of silly putty that was 4¼ inches long. If he stretched it out to 2⅔ times its current length how long would it be?

    I would turn these into fractions. So you do 4 times denominator and then add numerator. Do the same for the other fraction. Afterwards you get 17/4*8/3, which should give you your answer if I'm not mistaken, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
