To find the sum of 4/9 and 7/12, Mario rewrites the fraction as 8/36 and 21/36. His answer is 29/36. Is Mario right? If not, show his error and correct it.

    The answer is actually 37/36, or 1 1/36. The error was that when Mario multiplied 9 by 4, he only added the 4 to 4 instead of multiplying 4 by 4.
