Let me give you an example.

If you are dividing 1000 by 3.35

You can simplify the question by multiplying both of the numbers by 100 so the 3.35 becomes 335.

    1000 becomes 100000

    3.35 becomes 335

Now you have two normal numbers and you do not have any decimals.

I will give you one more example.

    Lets divide 11 by 4.5

To make 4.5 into 45 we will multiply it by 10.

We also have to multiply 11 by 10 as well.

    So:

    11 becomes 110

    4.5 becomes 45

Now you can easily divide them. e
