Fernando gave Maria the following puzzle: I am thinking of a number. I divide it by 3. Then I divide the result by 5. The final result is 8. What is my number?

    Simple, if you have the ending number as 8;

    You divided it by 5. So go in reverse, and multiply by 5.

    8*5=40

    Then, do the same thing again, you divided it by 3, so multiply by 3.

    40*3=120.

    Thus, the number that Fernando gave to Maria is 120.
