    X - quarters, x+5 - dimes.

    $74=7400 cents

    Then

    (25x+10 (x+5)) = (25x+10x+50) = (35x+50) cents.

    35x+50=7400

    35x=7400-50

    35x=7350

    x=7350/35

    x=210 quarters

    x+5=210+5=215 dimes

    210 quarters and 215 dimes
