Simple just add. First the big numbers 5+8=13, then 2/5+2/5 = 4/5

Then just put them together which is 13 4/5.

First since they have the same denominator you can simply add them.

    2 2 4

    5 5 5

Never add the denominator (if the same)

    5+8=13

    13 4/5
