The length of a rectangle is 8 m more than 6 times the width. The perimeter is 156 m. Find width.

    width = x

    length = 6x + 8

    x + 6x + 8 = 156/2

    7x + 8 = 78

    7x = 78 - 8

    7x = 70

    x = 70/7

    x = 10 m ← width
