A train travels at 480 miles/hour. Write an expression to represent the hours it takes the train to reach its destination, h.

Translate into algebraic expression.

    480 miles / hour,

    h = distance till destination miles/480 miles

    If h represents the hours until destination,

    d is the distance until it reaches the destination then the equation is

    h=d/480
