    1. Calculate for the volume of the original cylinder using the equation,

    V = πr²h

    where V is the volume, r is the radius, and h is the height

    Substituting the known values,

    V₁ = π (9 in) ² (12 in) = 3053.63 in³

    2. Do the same for the cylinder with the increased radius,

    V₂ = π (9.03 in) ² (12 in) = 3074.02 in³

    3. Lastly, determine the difference between the two volumes through the equation,

    d = V₂ - V₁

    Substituting the known values,

    d = 3074.02 in³ - 3053.63 in³

    d = 20.39 in³
