    To determine if the amount of lace is enough to be placed around the tablecloth, we determine the circumference of the tablecloth through the equation,

    C = 2πr

    where C is circumference,

    r is the radius

    Substituting the known values,

    C = 2π (3 ft) = 18.85 ft

    Hence, the 15 ft lace will not be enough for the tablecloth.
