    Invert the fraction (like 1/8 to 8/1) then multiply them together.

    Example: 3 : 1/2 = 3 * 2/1 = 3 * 2 = 6

    2/1 = 2

    You put the whole number on 1 and divide it by the fraction the whole number over 1 has to be flipped and multiplied by the fraction
