The central angle of a sector is 60 degrees and the area of the circle is 144 pi. What is the area of the sector

    The radius of the circle,

    Pi * r² = 144 pi

    r ² = 144

    r = 12

    The area of the sector,

    60 / 360 * pi * 12² = 144/6 * 22/7 or 3.142

    = 75. 43 or 24 pi
