Given an integer how do you find its opposite?

    There is more than 1 way to do this but the way i use is to go back to zero and move that amount of spaces to left if the original integer is positive or to the right if the original integer is a negative

    The opposite of a number is the same distance it is away from 0, just going in the opposite direction. Example : the opposite of 4 is - 4 ... the opposite of - 10 is 10 ... the opposite of 2 is - 2 ... same distance from 0, just one is positive and the other is negative.
