To figure this out, you must take 100 and subtract 15. If it was a markup, you would add 15. 100 minus 15 is 85. Since 15% is a percentage, you make 85 a percentage as well. 85%. Take 85% and make it a decimal, which. 85. Take. 85 and multiply it by 45 ...85 times 45 is 38.25.
The answer is 38.25.
