Half the diagonals are 8 in. and 6 in.

Together with the side of 10 in. the half-diagonals form a right triangle in the side length ratio of 3:4:5.

That means the diagonals are perpendicular.

A parallelogram with perpendicular diagonals is a rhombus.

Answer: The parallelogram is a rhombus.
