Amelia bought 144 centimeters of string to make beaded rings. If she needs 8 centimeters of string for each ring, how many rings can she make using the string she bought?

    She can make 18 rings using the string she bought.

    We simply divide 144 centimeters by 8 centimeters to get the number of strings that can make the rings.
