    Leg one: x (shorter side)

    Leg two: x+6

    Hypotenuse: 2x-6

    Use a^2+b^2=c^2

    x^2 + (x+6) ^2 = (2x-6) ^2

    x^2+x^2+12x+36=4x^2-24x+36

    2x^2+12x=4x^2-24x

    36x=2x^2

    36 = 2x

    x = 18
