3x ^2 - 4x - 9 = 0
3x ^ 2 - 4x = 9
X (3x - 4) = 9
X = 9
3x - 4 = 9
3x - 4 + 4 = 9 + 4
3x = 13
3x/3 = 13/3
X = 13/3.
