First you always need to solve the parenthesis first, so we have to solve 2/5 + 1/5, which is 3/5

    3/5 - 3/10

In order to subtract fractions with different denominators, we have to make them equal:

    3/5 is equal to 6/10 which is (3*2) / (5*2) making 3/5 equivelnt to 6/10

so now our equation is 6/10 - 3/10

In order to subtract fraction that have the same denominators, you just need to subtract the numerators and leave the denominators alone:

    6/10-3/10 = 3/10

    The awnser is 3/10

I hope you understood my brief explanation
