    2y = 3x - 1

    2 2

    y = 1¹/₂x - ¹/₂

    y - y₁ = m (x - x₁)

    y - 1 = ⁻²/₃ (x - 1)

    y - 1 = ⁻²/₃ (x) + ²/₃ (1)

    + 1 + 1

    y = ⁻²/₃x + 1²/₃

    The slope of the line that is perpendicular to the function is ⁻²/₃.
