Per bag is the better buy. If a bag costs $0.80 per pound, and at the other market 5 pounds costs $4.50, you multiply $0.80 by 5 and it gives you 4. The difference is $0.50

If you buy a banana for $.80per pound it's better than buying the 5 pounds worth of bananas.

if you do. 80 + 5 pounds, it equals $4.00. This is better than $4.50
