A scientist is working with 4 meters of gold wire. How long is the wire in millimeters?

    1 cm = 10 millimetres

    10 cm = 100 millimetres

    100 cm = 1,000 millimetres = 1 metre

    Therefore:

    4 metres = 4,000 millimetres
