First, turn the mixed numbers into improper fractions. 13/6 + 13/8.
Then, find the least common denominator. 24 is the least common denominator. Multiply them by 4, and 3.
13 x 4 = 52 13 x 3 = 39
6 x 4 = 24 8 x 3 = 24
52/24 + 39/24 = 91/24
91/25 = 3 16/25
